Neha Sharma

Neha Sharma, (born 17 September 1990), known by her stage name Nia Sharma, is an Hindi actress who acts in Indian television industry. She debuted in television with a supporting role on Kaali — Ek Agnipariksha in 2010. This was followed by another supporting role in the multi starrer Behenein in 2011.

Sharma’s career took a turning point later that year, when she bagged the parallel lead role of Manvi Chaudhary in Star Plus’s Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011–13). She established herself as a leading and successful actress with her portrayal of Roshni Patel in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja (2014–16), Aarohi Kashyap in Colors TV’s thriller Ishq Mein Marjawan (2018–19) and Naagin Brinda in Colors TV’s supernatural revenge series Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel (2019–20). Additionally she was a contestant on the reality stunt based show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 in 2017 and entered digital world the same year with Vikram Bhatt’s web series Twisted. She was most recently seen in the second season of her web series Jamai 2.0, which released digitally on ZEE5 in March 2021.

Sharma commenced her acting journey into television in 2010 with Star Plus’s Kaali — Ek Agnipariksha, that featured her as Anu. She then played Nisha Mehta in the channel’s multi starrer Behenein.

She had her first break in television when she signed the parallel main role of Manvi Chaudhary alongside Krystle D’Souza, Karan Tacker and Kushal Tandon in Star Plus’s Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai which ran successfully for 2 years, from 2011 to 2013.

Sharma’s first leading role was as Roshni Patel opposite Ravi Dubey in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja produced by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, which she did from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, she entered digital world with Vikram Bhatt’s web series Twisted, an erotic thriller also featuring Rrahul Sudhir and Namit Khanna.

In July 2017, she joined as a participating contestant in the eighth season of Colors TV’s popular stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Rohit Shetty. She was eliminated from the show three times, before entering again. During its grand finale in September 2017, she finished as a finalist.
